A lot of research is currently being carried out regarding alternative forms of dealing with asthma relief. Unfortunately most doctors don't want anything to do with them.
But doctors are only partly to blame for this ignorance. True, there are doctors who do NOT like being told about alternative forms of treatment for asthma relief, especially by patients. These doctors are in the possession of a certain 'I am God', syndrome, and if that sounds familiar to you then you have my condolences. But not all doctors can be bad! There must be more to it than that. Oh, there is. For a start medical schools don't teach student doctors about alternative remedies, so your doctor wouldn't know what you were talking (or waffling) about. Then you have the AMA (American medical association) AND the pharmaceutical industry mounting a virtual witch hunt against all kinds of treatment they don't particularly agree with (and it seems that those treatments they don't agree with are the ones they don't receive any money for). Don't forget that your illness is big business. But wait, there's more. The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is a body that regulates and approves all drug treatments in the United States, but as most alternative methods aren't covered by the FDA they aren't approved. Doctors are not permitted to administer any treatment that isn't approved by the FDA. In fact, doctors can have their licenses taken away from them, or they can be fined heavily if the system decides that they are not towing the line. Doctors can also lose the right to see patients in hospitals too. So you see, you might think your doctor is being pig-headed, arrogant and narrow-minded, but it could be he's just looking out for number one.
But it isn't all doom and gloom. With the advent of a new generation of younger, more open minded doctor, alternative treatments for asthma Relief
are being taken more seriously. Albeit very, very slowly. Experts predict that within some twenty years alternative forms of curing patients will be mainstream, common practice. But that's not much good to you now, is it?
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Is it me or is asthma in children becoming more frequent?

An increasing menace.
Go to any school in the United States or Europe these days and along with the mobile phones and gameboys, you will almost certainly find asthma inhalers. So why is asthma in children becoming so widespread? If we remember that asthma is a genetic disease that our forebears could have developed, it doesn't take a genius to work out that something has changed over the years. Studies show that there are various factors involved and none of them are good.
While pollution still hasn't been found to cause asthma, it has increased at the same rate and it does make the symptoms worse. There is an organization called the EPA which daily checks the quality of the air all over the United States. This data is then published in newspapers, on the internet and radio and TV. Look for the AQI, or air quality index in the weather sections. This uses a scale from 0 to 500. When it is more than 100 the air is considered to be unsafe. Pollution levels are also connected to the ozone layer. This used to be big news but the media seems to have gotten a bit bored of it recently, so it is not in the news much. But the problem is still there, which is why pollution levels are higher when it is hotter.
Another alarming study shows that children are smoking younger and younger than ever. This is the result of advertising, fashion, bad parenting, lax law enforcement, but pass every school and you'll get fifteen year old girls and boys with cigarettes hanging out of their mouths. This didn't happen in the past, but back then children didn't have the money to buy cigarettes in the first place. These are just two factors in the increase of asthma in children, but there are more.
Smoking during pregnancy causes asthma in children, along with lots of other health problems. Why it hasn't been made illegal I don't know. But perhaps the most surprising reason for asthma in children is hygiene. Because we are more concerned with the cleanliness of our homes and children than we were a century ago, our immune systems are not as properly developed as they should be. In the past, with dirt all over the place and bacteria rampant, our immune systems had to be stronger. We should also take into account the vast number of cleaning products available these days. All are full of toxic chemicals that are known to trigger asthma attacks. Hell, you can even make bombs out of some of them! If you want a really clean home, then the first things to throw away are the cleaning products. The best cleaning products on the market today are good old-fashioned sodium bicarbonate and vinegar! These are just some of the reasons why asthma in Children
has grown so much over recent years. After the initial shock has passed, the first thing you will have to start thinking about the best possible asthma treatment available. No, that's the second thing. The first thing you have to do is stop panicking. With the right treatment and armed with the right knowledge, your child will be able to have a normal, happy life with their asthma under control.
Now, what types of asthma treatment are there? Your doctor will most certainly show you two kinds; relievers and preventers. Everybody who has asthma has a reliever. It is the typical inhaler that is becoming extremely popular in most schools. Did I say extremely popular? Make that alarmingly popular. You can tell that asthma is reaching record levels just by the number of reliever inhalers you see at schools these days. As their name suggests, the job of the reliever is to relieve each and every asthma symptom. There are side effects, though. Muscle shakes could occur, or the heart beat could increase.
Preventers are also inhalers but these aren't so much for attacks but to help to control the swelling and inflammation in the airways. They also make the airways less susceptible to asthma triggers (pollution, for example). They have to be taken every day because the aim of the preventer is to build up a protective effect in the sufferer. You can easily distinguish preventers from relievers by their color. Relievers are blue whereas preventers can be orange, brown or red. Although preventers contain a type of artificial steroid found naturally in the body called Cortisone, your kids are not going to develop huge muscles. It has nothing to do with anabolic steroids. What could occur is that the user might get a small mouth infection which is known as thrush.
Other known side effects of Cortisone are stunted growth, weight gain, and infections are allowed to spread which wouldn't otherwise. In some cases death (the worst side effect) occurs if the medication is stopped very abruptly. Not something you'd want to give your child, now is it?
As well as having the same side effects as the reliever, preventers can also cause cataracts, diabetes, and mood swings. All in all these asthma treatment
are probably not the best thing for your kids to be taking, but there do exist other free, reliable, and above all safe methods of preventing and even eliminating asthma.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

A typical asthma symptom

What are asthma symptoms?
The main problem with diagnosing asthma is that the typical asthma symptom can easily be confused with a common cold or flu virus. If you suspect yourself or your child to be displaying one of the following symptoms, go straight to your doctor. It's amazing how many people don't bother making an appointment with their GP, preferring to put it down to 'just a cold'. DON'T! This is a big mistake and can have serious repercussions, especially for children. You can risk anything you want, but never your child's health.
As is per usual, a typical asthma symptom in one person can vary to another. But there are specific things we can look out for. Wheezing, which is when you breathe with a whistling sound, might well be an indicator of asthma. If this happens to you or your child during the night, after doing exercise or while suffering from a cold it could mean that asthma is developing. It could also mean you are suffering from a viral lung infection, so get it checked out straight away. Remember though, that not all asthma sufferers have to endure wheezing.
Does your child have a persistent cough that just will not go away? Again, it could be nothing or it could be an asthma symptom, so don't risk it. A very common asthma symptom is finding it difficult to breathe or the feeling of breathlessness. If your child also complains or a tightness in the chest then this could well be an indicator. Remember that younger children aren't much good at anatomy, so they could say they have a stomach ache when really the problem is higher up. When in doubt what do you do? Exactly, take junior to the doctor.
Children are famous for wanting cuddles, and quite often they say they 'need' to be carried. However, if on occasions they seem more earnest than usual (but don't forget they are extremely good actors) you might want to check it out just to put your mind at ease. The feeling of being tired is another asthma symptom.
If you suspect your child might be developing asthma, or when your child is showing an asthma sumptom
, (or any symptom for that matter) try keeping a note of anything (or a combination of different elements) that is present on these occasions. You may be able to notice patterns and identify what is triggering their asthma
, and this will be a great help when you tell the doctor.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Is asthma another reason to quit smoking?

Do away with cigarettes before they do away with you
If ever you needed a good reason to stop smoking, developing asthma would be the most dramatic and unfortunate. We all know that smoking causes cancer of the lungs, chronic bronchitis and will also complicate viral infections. For the asthma sufferer the effects are ten fold. A person who is allergic to peanuts doesn't eat peanut butter for breakfast every morning, and if you have or develop asthma the cigarettes should be the first things thrown out the window.
The smoke we inhale from a cigarette is full of pollutants and nasty chemicals. These can cause an allergic effect to occur in an asthma patient, causing the lining of their throat to inflame and make breathing extremely difficult.
Even if the asthma patient doesn't smoke, the effects of passive smoking can often be just as bad. Why do you think that smoking is forbidden on planes and other forms of public transport in practically every country? At least the governments are beginning to listen to the doctors and introduce new laws. But that doesn't stop people smoking in their own homes (and for the foreseeable future won't). It has also been proved that parents who smoke will have children who start the habit. Charity begins at home but so does good health education, it seems.
Making the decision to stop smoking is probably one of the best ideas you'll ever have, but unfortunately it is also one of most difficult to accomplish. Don't try to stop smoking on your own. Nine out of ten times you will fail. Go to see your doctor who will be more than happy to advise you on the best course of action. These days there are plenty of methods available, from patches to chewing gum, and with a little sacrifice and a lot of patience you can be able to beat nicotine. Thousands already have, so why should you be any different?
Make sure that there is plenty of fresh air circulating in your home, but take care you're not living near any points of dense pollution. Make your house a smoke free zone by not allowing any guests to smoke. Offer them some sweets or even a nicotine patch instead. Remember that children are much more susceptible to cigarette smoke than adults. Be informed about asthma
and how new approaches can protect them in a smoky environment, and even make their asthma to disappear!
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Asthma and scuba diving

Should asthma sufferers take the dive?
In many countries scuba diving for asthma sufferers just isn't possible owing to it being prohibited, but in other countries it isn't. So what's the problem here? Basically what's going on is insurance. Insurance company policies differ from one country to the next, so scuba diving schools have to play it safe or risk not getting covered. The fact that very few asthma sufferers have died while scuba diving doesn't really play a part in the equation. As with all other insurance policies, the question is a hypothetical 'if' and not based on any real world facts. Last year, which saw some 5,000 scuba diving related accidents, only one was attributed to having suffered an asthma attack whilst underwater.
The powers that be (and don't forget that these powers tend to be doctors), justify their prohibiting asthma sufferers from practicing scuba diving because of the false idea that if they were to get an asthma attack under water they wouldn't know how to breathe. They state that "the limiting factor for asthmatics is adequate ventilatory capacity underwater." This does not take into consideration though, each individual's own personal needs and abilities. Asthma is a disease that effects different people in different ways. Some get asthma attacks from being close to dogs and other animals while others do not. Some people are very sensitive to cold, dry air and some others aren't. There are literally dozens of possible triggers that can set off an asthma attack, and no two asthma cases are exactly alike.
In scuba diving, the main triggers for the onset of an asthma attack are the cold air which divers have to breathe, and people who are particularly susceptible to strong emotions like fear, excitement and anger. These can be controlled, however, and without the use of drugs. Alternative methods for bringing asthma under control are becoming more and more important in asthma sufferer's lives. Yoga for example, and other breathing techniques can have an amazing effect on people with asthma. The author of this article is very pleased to say that her asthma
was completely cured in this manner, and would love to see more experts in the field getting involved.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Asthma is not just a summer disease

Watch your asthma this winter
When summer is here an asthma child's parents are usually getting prepared for the worst. It is the time for high pollen counts that can cause havoc to an asthma sufferer. But the winter months can be just as bad, if not worse. Winter is the cold and flu season when everyone should be on their guard. If you or a family member has asthma, you need to take special precautions during these months to watch out for any symptoms developing that could increase the severity of an attack.
There are more than 200 different strains of cold and flu virus for you to choose from that are known as Rhinoviruses. It is estimated that 80% of all children who have to be attended in hospital for attacks are suffering the effects of one these. If we only had rhinoviruses to contend with there wouldn't be such a big problem during winter. But if you add the three types of flu virus, viral infections, and parainfluenza to the list it can make winter seem like a never ending ordeal.
The secret to an illness free winter is prevention. There are lots of things we can do to minimize the risk of catching a cold or flu and worsening our asthma. Keep a close eye on news reports in your area for epidemics and if possible try to steer clear of large crowds. If that means not taking your kids to a ball game, then so be it. The amazing thing about children who have asthma is that the majority of them are extremely responsible for their age and fully understand why they have to take special precautions. If you know of anyone in your circle of friends or relatives who are coming down with something ask them not to visit. Make it a habit of everyone in the household to regularly wash their hands with soap and hot water. Most viruses are spread this way. When we cough we have the habit of covering our mouths with our hands, but this only succeeds in moving the virus from one point to another. Coughing into a tissue then throwing it away is a much better option. Never forget to wash your hands before and after handling food, medication and going to the bathroom. If there is more than one asthma sufferer in your house don't allow them to share inhalers and make sure you clean them after use.
Children don't have the immunities that adults have so are prone to this kind of illness. But by being better informed about asthma
, and with common sense and good hygiene, the winter months can again become wonderful months.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Can pollution cause my asthma?

How to live in a dirty world
We now know (and even governments are beginning to admit it) that pollution is growing daily and is a key factor in the explosion of the number of asthmatics around the world. There is practically no country that hasn't seen a rise in pollution levels and the amount of asthma sufferers in the last twenty years. Whether it is the black smoke coming out of car exhausts, large chemical plants or smoke from cigarettes, people are feeling its effects on their health in an increasingly alarming number.

Maybe what is the saddest and also the most frightening problem with asthma is that children are particularly at risk. As their lungs are still growing and as a result have to breathe faster than adults, they are more prone to smoke and other pollutants found in the air. Children are also more susceptible to developing asthma if they live in a smoke filled house or the area where they live has a high smog count.

People who already have asthma have seen it getting worse in recent years. More sufferers are finding themselves being treated in hospital when before they could cope by themselves.

So what can we do you reduce pollution? Well short of being elected president in your country and bringing in new laws to curb pollution emissions, not too much. The first solution is to make your house smoke and pollution free. If you smoke, quit. It may sound like an impossible task, especially if you have been at it for many years, but ask your doctor to give you some advice and you will be amazed at the treatments that are now available to make it easier. Don't let other people smoke in your house, either. If you really can't stop smoking then find a place such as the garden, balcony or window and only smoke there. By limiting the amount of places in the home containing cigarette smoke you will go a long way to controlling your children's asthma

. Another very important cause of asthma is smog from vehicle emissions. Use your car less, if you are going to the corner shop then walk! Buy a bicycle, ask work colleagues if they would like to start a car pool with you. It may seem like a grain of sand in an ocean but doing your bit will eventually produce results.

To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

The main culprits in an asthma attack

Who's to blame for the increasing amounts of asthma cases?
Asthma cases are still rising. Compared to studies made twenty years ago the difference is amazing and frightening. We as people tend to want to find someone or something to blame when things go wrong. But in the case of asthma, do we blame the governments for not doing enough to lessen its impact on society, or do we blame ourselves for not knowing enough?

Asthma is a genetic lung disease, which means that our fathers could have gotten it, as well as our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. The fact that most of them didn't makes us want to blame the government. They are the ones responsible for polluting the environment. But are they really the bad guys this time? It is true that pollution has grown by astronomical proportions over recent years, and the cases of asthma have grown at the same rate, especially in the great industrialized countries. At the same time, people exercise less, have a worse diet and smoke.

Passive smoking is now beginning to make the news. Studies have shown that smoking around children can significantly increase the chances of them suffering asthma, and can definitely bring on an asthma attack. Everybody who smokes knows it is a bad and unhealthy habit, so blaming the governments for this seems a little absurd.

At a time when there is more information available for more people than at any other in the history of civilization, we do seem to be ignorant of a lot of things. All the information we could ever desire is just a Google click away. It is true that the governments could teach the children about asthma,

and other related diseases, but isn't education supposed to begin in the home? Because we are busier than ever before we have less time to be with our children to educate them properly.

So maybe the answer to the question is to blame the government for not blaming us! In the past information was strictly controlled by 'the powers that be'. But that is not so much the case these days and people can not use this as an excuse. To protect the future of our children we have to learn. We have to find as much information as possible and pass it on to them so they won't make the same mistakes as we have made.

To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Causes of Endometriosis

Endometriosis is largely a mystery. While it is true that scientists and doctors understand how the condition progresses, the symptoms it creates, and even how to treat it, the rationale behind its actual cause is not fully understood. In fact, it is true that there may be several potential causes of endometriosis. It is also possible that the cause of endometriosis may be a combination of several different factors or just one. Different people may develop endometriosis for different reasons. What can be ascertained from current information and research is that endometriosis is not even close to being fully understood.

When discussing the cause of endometriosis, it is important to realize that there may be many different causes. As scientists and researchers continue to unravel the double-helix of the human genome, it is becoming increasingly en vogue to attribute the cause of a myriad of conditions to genetic information. Heredity is a leading theory of the development of endometriosis. In fact, the chance of developing endometriosis increases for women when a close blood relative has also developed the disorder.

Another possible cause of endometriosis may be due to several environmental factors. It is understood that since environmental pollution is higher than it has ever been throughout human history that excess toxins may be responsible for a variety of health related conditions. It could be that mercury, lead, and other heavy metals in the air and water contribute to the onset of endometriosis.

Furthermore, there are a large number of potentially hazardous chemicals in the environment that may put the immune system in a weakened state. It is not surprising then, that another possible cause of endometriosis may be the failure of the immune system to adequately fight off hostile invaders. If you know anything about immunology you would understand that the immune system is constantly under attack. If endometriosis is caused by some kind of auto-immune reaction or a pathogenic organism, then the functionality of the immune system may hold the key to the condition. Therefore, it is important for women with endometriosis to keep their immune system functioning at top levels through maintaining a balanced diet and taking regular exercise.

It is also believed that an over production of estrogen may be the linked to endometriosis. Estrogen is a female hormone and since only females develop endometriosis, it may be the key to understanding this potentially severe and incurable condition. When hormones are out of balance the body is not properly regulated. This can lead to a host of problems. Hormone imbalances may be to blame for endometriosis as well as a variety of other conditions.

The causes of endometriosis may not be fully understood, however, the theories available seem to logically fit. It may be that all these factors work in conjunction with one another in some way or that one of these causes stands alone. Only time, solid research, and the evolution of medical understanding will provide the answers scientists so desperately seek.

To learn more about how to treat endometriosis please visit the following site:
Treating Your Endometriosis

Keeping an asthma diary

Keep your health in your hands
Asthma is a strange disease. Though it effects over 20 million people in the US alone, no two cases are exactly alike. Doctors now know that it is a genetic condition, meaning it is passed down from generation to generation (see it was your father's fault all along), but what varies greatly are the triggers which set off an attack. A trigger can be any external effect (such as cold air, animals, dust, etc) which our bodies react to. Each sufferer has different tolerance levels to different triggers, which would be great if we knew what our own particular triggers were. But we don't, and herein lies the problem.
Do you get an asthma attack when you are or have been near dogs? How about when exercising? In these cases the cause of the trigger is quite obvious. But what happens when you aren't so sure? By keeping a diary we can pinpoint the exact triggers our systems are susceptible to. In order for it to work properly though, it has to be detailed. Note down all the exercise you do and your body's reaction to it. On one particular day did the exercise have negative results? Why? What was the weather like? Describe the room where you exercised. If the room is where you habitually go to exercise, was there something different about it on that day? Make a list in your diary of all the food you eat. It's not much good just writing 'pizza', as that doesn't give us much detail. Try to write down as many ingredients as possible, as a lot of foods are known to be triggers.
This all may seem like too much hard work, but after only a few days of writing in your diary you will soon see a pattern emerging. Another very important use of your asthma diary is to note the results of what is called a Control Pause. Do this in the morning on arising. After you breathe out normally, measure the time before you need to take in another breath. Some people cannot manage even one second while others can quite naturally last for 40 seconds or more. You can increase your control Pause by doing breathing exercises. Many people have found that their asthma
attacks stop when they have a Control Pause of greater than 20. This gives them the confidence to lead a normal life.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

What is asthma?

Everything you always wanted to know about asthma but didn't
Asthma is the disease of the twenty-first century. If Typhoid and Cholera have had their day, then they only made room for a new epidemic. The fact that asthma doesn't make the news headlines all the time is simply because it is not as dramatic as the two former diseases. It still kills, but because hundreds at a time aren't falling down dead, the media doesn't really want to know about it. Believe me, asthma has the potential to be even worse than both Typhoid and Cholera put together.
We have all heard of asthma, but do we really understand what it is and how it effects our bodies? Well settle down, because I'm going to tell you all you need to know. Put basically, asthma makes the tube from our lungs to the outside world narrower. As this tube gets narrower, we find it harder and harder to breathe. There are three factors that effect the breathing tube. The muscles in our throat contract, the lining of the tubes becomes swollen, or mucus builds up and we feel like we are being strangled from the inside out. When this happens it is called an asthma attack, and that's when the real problems start. Panic attacks can often begin and the sufferer feels as if they are drowning. They may also get pains in their chest. Imagine not knowing you had asthma and thought it was a heart attack.
Now we know what it is, but we also need to know why this happens. Unfortunately no one knows for sure why we get asthma. It is generally assumed that it is genetic and not infectious. Studies are now starting to show that social changes like the environment, smoking and obesity are exacerbating factors. Asthma is a very individual disease, meaning that it effects different people in different ways. Some are especially susceptible to pollen, others to cigarette smoke or even wine and dogs. These are called triggers and there are many different kinds. Apart from the aforementioned pollens, smoke, wines and dogs, other triggers include cold air, dust mites, exercise and even laughing and talking. The trick to controlling asthma is finding out what you are particularly susceptible to. This could take a while but the benefits are obvious.
But there is good news for the asthma sufferer. With good care and armed with plenty of knowledge to keep this disease under control, there is no reason what so ever that the person effected can't have a normal, healthy life.
One theory that many have applied successfully is that asthma is a defence mechanism our bodies use to keep the right balance of different gases in our lungs. When they retrained their breathing to get this balance right all the time, they found their asthma treatment
went away!
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Stop Hands From Sweating

In order to stop hands from sweating, it is necessary to identify the cause. People who suffer from hyperhidrosis limit their behavior, and in some cases, they even avoid shaking hands, since they are embarrassed with their condition. Regarding the interaction with the opposite sex, people who suffer from excessive sweating may even avoid holding hands.
There are several different treatment options that may help people to stop hands from sweating, or at least to limit this phenomenon. The first option is represented by oral medication. The downside of this treatment consists in the possible side effects that the medication may have. The second option is to undergo a surgical intervention called Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy. Fear of such an operation is unjustified, since the incision is rather tiny and the duration is very small. Also, this procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so there will be no pain. Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy consists in disrupting the link to the brain of a nerve that is located in the chest.
The role that is played by this nerve is to transmit to the sweat glands located in the hands to secrete sweat. When the connection is interrupted, the patients do not have sweaty hands anymore. The downside of Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy consists in compensatory hyperhidrosis. This means that while the hands are relieved from excessive sweating, other parts of the body may develop this problem.
Botox is also a treatment option that is worth taking into consideration. However, most of the people who want to stop hands from sweating will avoid this treatment since it is very expensive and it is not permanent. In order to maintain the results, it is necessary to take the injections twice yearly. The injections are made in the hand or feet, depending on the area that is affected by excessive sweating.
To find out about all natural sweating cures that remove sweat permanently, Click Here For Sweat Free In 14 Days

How To Stop Facial Sweating

How to stop facial sweating is a question that concerns most of the people who suffer from hyperhidrosis. In most of the cases, a change of the habits should do the trick. The ones who feature sweating legs must pay more attention to the quality of their footwear, people who suffer from sweating arm pits are recommended to wear loose clothes and the persons who have facial hyperhidrosis are advised to stop using certain cosmetic products. Facial creams should be avoided at all costs. These contain several substances that are harmful to the skin and even more, that can influence the amount of sweat that is secreted by the sweat glands. Light creams may be used, but only from time to time.
Since some forms of excessive sweating are hereditary and hence, get transmitted from one generation to the other, talking to the other members of the family is very important. If the medical condition has been indeed inherited, people must find out how their relatives managed to get rid of excessive sweating. In this particular situation, a family member is the best person to tell how to stop facial sweating.
Carrying a handkerchief allows people to remove excessive sweat from their face. While this method makes the sweat disappear momentarily, it is certainly better to look for more efficient treatment options. Talcum powder represents one of the best alternatives to deodorants. This substance has mainly the same effect, but the bad part is that it is only temporary. When applying talcum powder to the face, it is very important to avoid contact with eyes, nose and mouth, since it can cause irritation or a mild allergic reaction. Loose compact powder is yet another product that may help people to stop facial sweating. Regardless of the results of these treatments, people should continue to have a nice social life.
To find out about all natural sweating cures that remove sweat permanently, Click Here For Sweat Free In 14 Days

Stop Feet From Sweating

Sweating feet are not that much different from other areas that are affected by hyperhidrosis. In other words, the symptoms may be the same. However, the treatment options are a bit different. If people who suffer from under arm excessive perspiration are suggested to start wearing loose shirts and T-shirts, the ones who have sweating feet are recommended to change their footwear with something better in order to stop feet from sweating.
There is special footgear on the market that is made from certain materials that allow the feet to breath. In addition, sweat and moisture are eliminated. More than that, bad odor is also removed, so people do not have to worry anymore about this problem. The socks may play an important role too, so people should pay more attention to the socks they are wearing. Certain materials can determine the sweat glands to produce even more watery substance, will other prevent the overproduction of sweat.
Antiperspirants are recommended for all the types of hyperhidrosis, so they represent a good way to stop feet from sweating, at least in the first stages of the medical condition. Over-the-counter deodorants are very accessible and can be obtained fast. This is why they represent one of the first options that come in people’s mind when facing excessive sweating. However, the over-the-counter antiperspirants may be inefficient in some cases, so people who want to stop feet from sweating should concentrate their attention towards prescription strength deodorants.
In order to obtain these, they must get a prescription from a medical care provider, but the effort is certainly worth it. Application of the antiperspirant should be performed daily for a week, at first and then once or twice every 7 days, so that the excessive sweat is kept away. The prescription strength foot sprays are supposed to provide spectacular results.
To find out about all natural sweating cures that remove sweat permanently, Click Here For Sweat Free In 14 Days

Surgery To Stop Sweating

More and more people take surgery into consideration when searching for a treatment for excessive sweating. However, there are several very important aspects that must be known by the persons who want to use surgery to stop sweating. Sympathectomy is one of the most recent surgical procedures that are used as a treatment option for hyperhidrosis. Even though this surgical operation is performed only once in a lifetime and has permanent effects, there are many specialists who do not consider it a good treatment.
This controversial surgical intervention implies cutting a part of a nerve that is located inside the chest. This way, the nerve signal that leads to excessive sweating is stopped permanently. Most of the people who have tried this were very happy with the results. However, it is a known fact that people fear surgical operations. On the other side, it is better to go through such a procedure rather than being embarrassed for the rest of the life. This surgical intervention has been developed recently. If in the early days, a sympathectomy implied opening up the chest or the back, nowadays this is done through very small instruments that minimize the incision considerably. Knowing this may determine many persons who suffer from excessive sweating to think about surgery to stop sweat. Endoscopy is a part of sympathectomy, since a small camera is introduced into the body through a tiny opening.
As mentioned before, sympathectomy is contentious because compensatory hyperhidrosis may develop. This means that while the hands and the feet do not sweat excessively anymore, other areas of the body may start to be affected by hyperhidrosis. This action is taken by the body in order to make sure that the temperature is maintained low. As this is an undesired side effect, people may want to look for other treatment options.
To find out about all natural sweating cures that remove sweat permanently, Click Here For Sweat Free In 14 Days

Go to bed with a bug and wake up with asthma

How dust mites are making asthma sufferers' lives a mess.
If I were to tell you that every night you sleep with thousands of insects right there in the bed with you, you would probably like to believe I was crazy. I'm not. Sorry. These insects are called dust mites. I know, I know, you've never seen one in your bed. You can't, as they are microscopic entities. A hundred of the little pests wouldn't fill up a speck of dust. Now before everyone takes a long sigh of relief that could cause a tornado in Texas, let's get something clear; Dust mites can be a health hazard, especially if you suffer from asthma. The problem that they cause is because of a protein they create that can trigger an asthma attack. Just one of these mites can make two hundred times its body weight in waste, waste containing this protein, so you don't need to be Einstein to do the math. Suffice to say that there's a lot of dust mite protein in every house in the entire world.
Dust mites inhabit all the rooms in your house, but they seem to have a particular liking to the bedroom. They live off dust (hence the name) and yes, our dead skin as it falls off us at night. Not a very nice thought if you had a romantic evening planned. If you have asthma, then it might very well be worth your while to follow these simple steps to controlling this particular asthma trigger.
First of all, let me say that it is nigh impossible to eliminate dust mites completely, but that's not to say you have to give in and live with them. You can buy an anti mite cover for your mattress, and avoid keeping anything under the bed. Cleaning is a priority, but not with a feather duster. All they do is move the dust from one place to another, causing a dust storm in the process. Use a damp cloth to make sure all the dirt is eliminated. Next, when was the last time you looked on top of the wardrobe? Or rather, when was the first time you looked on top of the wardrobe! This is one area no one ever seems to bother cleaning. Out of sight, out of mind, they say, and the dust mites love you for it. Wash the bedclothes at least once a week at a high temperature and try to use plastic coverings for all your clothes hanging in the wardrobe, too. If you have carpets and you don't want to get rid of them (wooden floors are perfect for the asthma sufferer), invest in a good vacuum cleaner.
These are simple things we can do to cut down on dust mites. If you have asthma, they might well be the major cause of your attacks. Try them and see for yourself. Endometriosis is nearly impossible to diagnose without the help of a trained medical professional. In fact, it’s best to consult a doctor who specializes in women’s health. Generally, a routine physical examination can rule out endometriosis or require further tests to be performed. Once tests are performed it is fairly easy to conclusively diagnose endometriosis.

In addition to physical examinations, doctors have a variety of tests at their disposal to render a diagnosis of endometriosis. Imaging tests rely on the use of complicated machines that can actually create visual representations of what is going on inside the human body. In addition to letting doctors know what is going on, imaging tests can also pinpoint cysts and other abnormalities that may exist in the uterus. There are two commonly used imaging tests: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and ultrasound.

When you get an MRI you are usually placed inside a machine, although newer technologies for a less claustrophobic experience are becoming more common. An MRI renders a three-dimensional image of a designated area of the human body. Using magnetic fields an MRI can provide a doctor with a superbly detailed image.

Ultrasound is another form of imaging used to diagnose endometriosis. This imaging technique has been used most often to observe the unborn fetus in the womb. However, there are other uses for ultrasound. Using soundwaves, this imaging device can also provide doctors with a clear picture of what is going on.

Biochemical markers are another excellent method that doctors and medical professionals can use to find out if endometriosis is present. Through research, it has been discovered that there are certain chemicals in the blood of women that have developed endometriosis that are not found in the same concentration in women without the condition. Researchers have developed tests that look for a specific antigen and a specific protein, which can often lead the way to a successful diagnosis. This is the least costly test other than a physical examination, and takes the least amount of time – all it requires is a small sample of blood to analyze.

Laparoscopy is another way to diagnose if a woman has developed endometriosis. This test is conducted by creating a small incision into the pelvic region. A tiny camera is then fed into the hole and doctors can watch the findings on a computer monitor. On the tip of the camera there is an equally tiny apparatus for collecting tissue. A tissue sample can be obtained in this way and analyzed to see if endometriosis has developed.

The only way to find out which test may be appropriate for you is to consult your doctor. These tests are highly effective in helping doctors to determine whether endometriosis is the correct diagnosis or whether there is another cause for the symptoms. Before undergoing any of these tests it is a good idea that you familiarize yourself with each one of them. It is important to understand what you are getting into before you undergo any medical procedure.

To learn more about how to treat endometriosis please visit the following site:
Treating Your Endometriosis

Now asthma sufferers have another reason to hate 'roaches

Blame cockroaches for your asthma.
Everyone knows that cockroaches are disgusting little insects (make that disgusting big insects), but did you also know they are a prime suspect in the triggering of asthma attacks? Several separate studies have been made in recent years and their results have been far from reassuring.
Researchers have discovered that a protein found in cockroach saliva and their droppings is a major reason for increased attacks, especially among children. Because this protein can last for several months asthma attacks can occur even after the pests have been eradicated. What happens is that this protein gets mixed up with ordinary house dust and is extremely difficult to get rid of. However, armed with a bit of knowledge and a lot of common sense, we can prevent these effects from getting out of control.
Cockroaches are very adaptable. They are able to inhabit most homes with comparative ease, and contrary to public opinion, not just dirty houses, either. They like a damp environment, so the first job on our list is the check that there are no leaks in the kitchen or bathrooms. They also enjoy feasting on the remains of food that we leave behind on a daily basis. Even the tiniest crumb of bread is enough to get a roach licking its lips and salivating (which we don't want) at the mouth. Make sure to thoroughly clean the kitchen every day and try not to eat in other parts of the house. If you live in an apartment block, then check with neighbors to see if they have noticed an infestation (not that they would necessarily tell you the truth!).
More at risk are older houses where over the years colonies of cockroaches have bred and they have literally taken over the building. In the studies already mentioned, more asthma sufferers lived in these environments than anywhere else. If this is your case then you will have to make even greater efforts to keep them at bay. Go through your entire house and check there are not gaps or cracks in the walls, ceilings and floors. Call an exterminator at once if you suspect any cockroaches might be present or if you have heard rumors from your neighbours.
If you don't want to call in an expert, then there are lots of anti cockroach traps and sprays on the market, but sadly, it is possible that they themselves will trigger an asthma attack. An alternative is to check out this asthma treatment
that has been dramatically successful in scientific trials. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em .... but without your asthma.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week

Diet Linked to Fibromyalgia?

With the controversy over Fibromyalgia, it can be hard to find a doctor who will diagnose you correctly, much less prescribe treatment options that will work for you. But thanks to secondary diagnostic options like the Internet and networks of educated and caring friends, treating your Fibromyalgia can be easier. One method of treating Fibromyalgia that many sufferers agree helps is changing your diet. While there is no ironclad recipe of foods to include and foods to avoid, you can use these tips as a starting point to easing your Fibromyalgia symptoms. The key here is remembering what works for some, doesn’t work for all. It will take some time and some experimentation to figure out the right diet modifications for your Fibromyalgia.

• Try to balance your diet. While there is no consensus as to the best diet for treating Fibromyalgia, the first goal of any sufferer is to get the body in as optimum condition as possible. Cut down on fatty foods and try to eat more veggies and fruit. Drink more water to help flush everything through your system. Cut down drastically on junk food. It will be much easier to make any further changes in your eating habits once you’ve started eating right to begin with.
• Take in more protein and less carbs. Even if you don’t suffer from Fibromyalgia, this is sound advice. Lean proteins, like skinless chicken, lean beef and fish, are an excellent and healthy way to fuel your body. They help keep energy levels high and can even help with hypoglycemia. The carbs, on the other hand, help the body to make insulin, which in small doses is good, but if your body makes too much, it can lead to your system storing fat. This isn’t healthy for anyone and can be even unhealthier for those suffering from Fibromyalgia.
• Avoid caffeine and anything that has caffeine in it. This may be close to impossible when you consider the popularity of coffee and soft drinks today, but caffeine is a diuretic and can exacerbate IBS symptoms that are common with Fibromyalgia. This means no caffeinated pop and also no chocolate or coffee. If you simply can’t live without these things, try to limit them the best you can or opt for caffeine-free varieties.
• Try to eliminate alcohol consumption. Not only can the combination of many common prescription medications and alcohol be very bad for you, even alcohol on its own can make symptoms worse. Alcohol can aggravate the stomach and digestive tract and cause increased bowel problems.
• Finally, try to reduce or eliminate refined white sugar from your diet. Again, this falls under the category of sound medical advice to anyone, but for Fibromyalgia sufferers, it’s an especially good idea. Not only can sugar disrupt sleep patters if too much is eaten, it can harm your immune system and tests have shown that Fibromyalgia patients report fewer symptoms and less severe symptoms when they decreased their sugar intake.

Treating your Fibromyalgia can be a chore, especially when some doctors won’t even admit it exists. But there are significant steps you can take at home to decrease your Fibromyalgia symptoms by changing what you eat for the better. While everyone may get different results, these tips will hopefully have you on your way to a healthier tomorrow.

For more information on all aspects of Fibromyalgia please visit Eliminate Fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia and Exercise

The most effective treatment for fibromyalgia is exercise. Which seems totally weird, because most people with fibromyalgia hurt worse and are more fatigued after exercise, and they may feel that way for days. The key is the right amount of the right kinds of exercise.

If you are new to exercising within the constraints of fibromyalgia, it may be helpful to enlist the help of a trainer, physical therapist or exercise physiologist to design a program specifically for you. Every person with fibromyalgia has a different exercise capacity, so you need an individualized program.

Another important concept related to exercise is your “baseline.” Each person has a different baseline. It is the level of exercise that you can maintain over time. It does not mean that you are pain-free, but that the pain doesn’t interfere with your lifestyle. You also need to remember that you’ll always have good days and bad days. You don’t stop or reduce your exercise because of a bad day. (Although you may reduce it for a while if you have a bad flare-up that lasts days or weeks.)

Exercise training for someone with fibromyalgia begins with stretching. Stretching reduces the stiffness and keeps ligaments and tendons from shortening over time. Stretching should be gentle and it should feel good. It is usually a good idea to warm your muscles with mild aerobic activity, such as walking, for a few minutes before stretching.

Daily low-impact, gentle aerobic exercise is the next step. Aerobic exercise has tons of health benefits. It specifically helps reduce fibromyalgia symptoms because it improves flexibility, causes your body to release endorphins and other happy chemicals and reduces stress. Walking and bicycling are excellent low-impact exercises. It is important to start at a level suitable to where you are and increase your level of exercise slowly. If you get fatigued after five minutes of walking, start there and increase your time by a minute or two every week or two.

Some activities are especially good for fibromyalgia. Water aerobics and swimming are wonderful. The buoyancy of the water supports your sore muscles and allows you to exercise with less pain. Swimming has a double benefit of gentle stretching along with aerobic exercise.

Tai Chi and Qi Gong and Yoga emphasize slow, gentle movements that are ideal for people with fibromyalgia. All three exercises include breathing and focusing, which decrease stress. You also learn to be aware of your body and learn to recognize signs of stress.

Pilates is another exercise system where you work with your body, stretching and toning it. Pilates is a non-weight bearing exercise, like chair aerobics. It is a gentle way to tone your body, and gentle is the word for exercising with fibromyalgia.

People with fibromyalgia can add some strength training slowly as they build up exercise tolerance. Resistance bands provide plenty of strength training for a while. Strength training must be undertaken carefully and gently, and it might be wise to get help from an exercise professional before adding it. There are many benefits to strength training, and it could be a very beneficial addition to your exercise, especially when you are feeling well.

Whether we are talking about exercise or sleep, pacing and routine are important if you have fibromyalgia. Going to bed and getting up at the same time every day helps with sleep. Exercising at the same time every day helps with exercise. Your body begins to respond to routine.

Exercise must be paced, too. That means starting at a low level, increasing gradually, and incorporating rest into your routine. You exercise, then rest, then exercise some more. Over time, you can shorten the rest periods and/or lengthen the exercise periods. Rhythm and pacing make a big difference in how much exercise you can tolerate.

It is recommended that you consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regime.

To find out more on why exercise can be so beneficial please visit EliminateFibromyalgia.com .

Endometriosis Common Symptoms

The symptoms of endometriosis are extremely diverse. This means that it is not easy to pinpoint the condition when a women first presents with symptoms. Fortunately, doctors are well-trained to diagnose the condition if a physical examination is performed. Normally, a physical examination and a few routine tests will provide a definitive diagnosis.

If you are concerned that you may have endometriosis, you shouldn’t worry too much about it until you consult a doctor and have the condition diagnosed. There is nothing worse than creating anxiety when it is not necessary. Worrying about endometriosis before understanding all the facts will not help at all. In fact, it will only serve to increase your stress levels.

As previously stated, there are many symptoms of endometriosis. Just because you have one or two of them does not mean you have the condition. The most common sign of endometriosis is a symptom called dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea manifests as pain before and during menstruation. Many women experience dysmenorrhea during their lifetimes – but this does not mean they have endometriosis. Normally, there are other symptoms present.

Painful bowel movements – which also could include constipation or other digestive problems – are often experienced by sufferers of endometriosis, and can be considered a significant warning sign. Dyspareunia, which is defined as pain during and after the act of sexual intercourse, is also a sign of endometriosis. Dyspareunia is likely due to patches of internal bleeding caused by the abnormal growth of the uterus lining. In addition, chronic pain – with or without sexual intercourse – in the pelvic region may be due to the invasion of tissue into areas not accustomed to such growth.

Another symptom of endometriosis is the onset of painful and or heavy menstruation cycles. These episodes are characterized by heavier than normal bleeding and abnormal cramping. The pain in highly acute cases can be so severe that hospitalization may be required. Chronic pain can also lead to radical lifestyle changes. The ability to go out and enjoy your life may be compromised so it is important to manage the condition before it reaches a destructive stage.

The most dreaded symptom of endometriosis is infertility. Women of reproductive age are often devastated upon learning that they may be unable to conceive. It can be a traumatizing experience, however, just because you have endometriosis does not automatically indicate that you will be infertile. Women with endometriosis can and do have children. But if the condition progresses to the later stages, infertility becomes a common outcome. Generally cases of endometriosis induced infertility are not treatable through fertility treatments.

Endometriosis is associated with a host of symptoms. It is important that you achieve a diagnosis before worrying about your symptoms. On their own, individual symptoms are usually nothing to worry about. But if you are experiencing more than one of the common symptoms there is a chance that you have endometriosis and you should take steps to find out as soon as possible. The condition occurs in four stages. If you can treat it and make some lifestyle changes early on, you may be able to control the growth of uterine tissue and keep your symptoms under control.

To learn more about how to treat endometriosis please visit the following site:
Treating Your Endometriosis

Endometriosis Explained

Endometriosis is a potentially severe condition that involves improper development of the lining of the uterus in women. In this condition, the uterus lining actually develops on the outside of the uterus. This abnormal growth is not just a nuisance – it can be potentially dangerous and even deadly if not treated properly.

This condition is more common then most people may in fact believe. According to researchers and statisticians, approximately two to ten percent of women develop endometriosis during their lifetime. Endometriosis normally appears in women between the ages of 20 and 30; however, there are exceptions to this rule and some women develop the condition earlier or later in life.

When the tissue that makes up the lining of the uterus develops outside the uterus it can lead to significant health problems. First of all, due to the fact that tissue is pushing into areas of the body that are not set up to handle this sort of tissue growth, it can cause extensive pain and discomfort. Internal bleeding and damage to other organs is also possible due to this excessive tissue growth. Furthermore, many women who develop endometriosis go onto experience fertility problems – with an unfortunate few who will never be able to conceive, even with the focused help of reproductive specialists.

Like many other significant health problems, a true cause of endometriosis has yet to be discovered. Scientists have not as of yet been able to pinpoint exact the exact cause of endometriosis, although they have a number of theories. The links between these theories and hard biology are not fully understood, however, scientists hope to one day unravel the mystery behind endometriosis

One of the theories involves the over production of the female hormone estrogen. Another theory involves erratic stem cell production in the wall of the uterus.

While medical professionals rabidly discuss all theories it is thought also that there is a genetic link. Close female relatives of those stricken with endometriosis are more likely to develop the disorder.

As stated earlier, the most common symptom is pain during menstruation. Other symptoms include cramping, lower back pain, nausea, fatigue, infertility, painful sexual intercourse, painful bowel movements, and the development of cysts.

Endometriosis occurs in four distinct stages. The first stage is generally the most benign – the condition is just beginning in the ovaries. The second stage is mild and in addition to appearing in the ovaries, it appears on the pelvic lining. The third stage – or moderate stage is the steppingstone to the fourth and final stage where significant bodily injury is possible.

Endometriosis is not something to be taken lightly. If you suspect that you may have endometriosis you should immediately seek medical advice for a diagnosis. While there is no cure for the disease, it is possible to treat it through a variety of treatments.

To learn more about how to treat endometriosis please visit the following site:
Treating Your Endometriosis

Natural Ways to Beat Endometriosis

There are different dietary and herbal supplements that can be taken to help alleviate symptoms caused by endometriosis. That being said, before taking any form of supplement, you should always consult your doctor first. This is especially important for any woman who suffers from kidney, liver or heart problems.

The following is a breakdown of the common types of dietary (vitamins and minerals) supplements used to treat endometriosis:

Vitamins
B Vitamins - biotin, choline, cobalamin, folic acid, inositol, niacin, PABA, panthothenic acid, pyridoxine, and riboflavin –Every member of the B vitamin family works to breakdown carbohydrates, fat and protein in the body. Folic acid is particularly important as it distributes oxygen to tissue, and a deficiency in this particular B vitamin can cause anemia. B vitamins also help to improve emotional symptoms caused by endometriosis.
Vitamin C – helps build and preserve collagen in the body, simulates the immune system, encourages healing, and resists disease. Caution: Although fruit is an excellent source of vitamin C, it also contains bioflavinoids that can mirror estrogen effects on the body and cause severe cramping.
Vitamin E – helps strengthen immune system. When taken with selenium it can decrease inflammation associated with endometriosis. Caution: Women should not take vitamin E supplements if they are on anticoagulants.

Minerals
Calcium – approximately two weeks before menstruating, calcium levels decrease in women. This drop in levels can result in headaches, pelvic pain and muscle cramps. Note: Calcium requires vitamin D to be absorbed into the body; therefore, if taking a calcium supplement, ensure it contains vitamin D.
Iron – During menses, the average woman loses an estimated 30 mg of iron, and some women who have endometriosis may lose even more due to heavy menses. Iron deficiency can cause weakness, serious fatigue and mental haziness.
Potassium – aids in muscle contraction, heart rate regulation, and the balance of body fluids among other things. Women who experience diarrhea during their menses can become deficient in Potassium which can result in bloating, fatigue, and weakness.
Magnesium – Helps to relieve cramping during menstruation. Magnesium deficiency can lead to muscle and/or menstrual cramps.
Zinc – aids in the reproduction of cells and is vital for enzyme activity. It is believed that zinc helps women cope better with their emotions during menstruation and reduces irritability.

Herbal remedies are another form of alternative medicine used to treat endometriosis. The objective of herbal therapy is to decrease pain in endometriosis sufferers, improve pelvis circulation, and establish hormonal balance. The following are a few herbs commonly used to treat endometriosis.

Evening Primrose Oil – These herbal seeds are high in essential fatty acids which boost the production of prostaglandin E1. Caution: women who are prone to seizures should not use this herbal remedy.
Vitex agnus castus – This herb has been considered useful to relieve endometriosis cramping and discomfort during menses because it reduces prolactin. Caution: women taking oral contraceptives should not use this herb as it can reduce contraceptive efficacy.
Cimicifugae racemosae rhizome – This herbal remedy is used to treat many forms of pain such as dysmenorrhea.
Dandelion Tea – This herb helps to alleviate edema and swelling. While one asthma sufferer might not have any ill effects when faced with a high pollen count, another could be getting rushed to hospital. The stimuli that cause asthma attacks are called triggers. These can be cold air, exercising, pollen, pollution, and yes, household pets are on the list, too.
But before Fido thinks his days are numbered, there are a number of precautions we can take to minimize this particular trigger. Keep most rooms off limits for Fido and his pals. You should never have animals anywhere near your bed if you have asthma. While many people assume it is the hair of the animal that is the source of the problem, in actual fact the real culprit is the dry skin animals leave in their wake (and with amazing frequency). This dry skin is called dander, but to anyone with asthma it should be called danger. The dander from cats and dogs is an extremely sticky substance and will adhere to almost anything (falling hairs included).
Getting rid of this is no easy task, especially if you happen to have carpets everywhere. So what can we do, short of packing Fido off to live with your Aunt Edna? Weekly bathing is a highly recommended way of reducing dander deposits. Obviously the person in the household with asthma shouldn’t be the one doing the cleaning, and if possible make sure it is done outside. Ask at your local veterinary to see if they have any special animal shampoos that can further help reduce dander, and while you're there have Fido's hair cut as short as possible.
Another very important option for the asthma sufferer is to consider taking out all the carpets and replacing them with wooden or ceramic floors. This may seem like an extreme measure to take, but when you realise that the majority of vacuum cleaners aren’t able to clean deep down into carpets and that the effects of dander can last several months, the benefits or changing your flooring become quite clear.
Does Fido constantly want to give everyone kisses? While this is endearing, remember that the saliva on an animal’s tongue contains a protein that can also trigger an asthma attack, and when he’s not kissing you he’s licking himself, lapping up all that wonderful dander onto his tongue ready to go off and kiss someone else. So the optimal situation would be to train your dog (this isn’t really a problem with cats) not to go around kissing everyone in sight. It all really comes down to how bad your asthma is and how much you love your pet.
If you are living an impossible situation, then the only real alternative may appear to be to remove the animal from your house. But before you decide on this option, please make sure that you have checked out this very successful alternative treatment for asthma
. It will allow you to keep Fido. After all, it’s not his fault.
To Learn More Visit Cure Your Asthma In Just One Week
